March Hardly March Hardly was a strange sort of fellow. He was constantly jittery and nervous, and couldn't sit still. Strands of black hair always fell on his face. But the one thing March loved most of all, was coffee and tea. He simply couldn't decide between them. When he met the Mad Hatter, he finally decided to take the side of tea.
One day, on a bright spring morning, March was all alone at the tea table. He was sipping his heavily caffeinated tea, when he heard what sounded like footsteps. Now, he always recognized the footsteps of the Mad Hatter, and these footsteps where not his. He got up from the table, still clutching his teacup, and crept behind a tree. After a few moments, he saw what looked like... a boy walking towards the tea table. HIS tea table. He stepped out from behind, preparing to pour his hot tea down his back or something (if he was brave enough) but didn't. The boy seemed... quite lost. Feeling sympathy suddenly wash over him, he tapped him on
Red Riding HoodI want to believe people so badly when they say they won’t bite
that I contemplate climbing into their smiling jaws
thinking that it might be better to be split in two than left hanging.
But always, I draw my red hood and flit back into the forest
running in the shadows of pathways, never stepping into clearings
because I’ve spent my whole life in the wilderness
and I still can’t tell the wolves from the woodsmen.
